Purchased it in 2018.
I'm the 4th owner.
It was built in Fremont and sold new at Fitzpatrick Chevrolet in Concord on June 7, 1968.
Always in the bay area (Concord, Novato, Petaluma, Walnut Creek).
Garage kept.
I have the original Protect-O-Plate and 22 years of maintenance records.
Swapped the original 307 engine in 2019 with a completely rebuilt 350 from a 1970 Camaro (Star Machine in Emeryville did the build).
Bored.
30 over, new pistons / rods / Comp Cam camshaft and hydraulic lifters.
New Holley 4 barrel / Headman Headers / distributor / power-steering pump / hoses.
Rebuilt 3-Speed TH 350 transmission.
New dash assembly / knobs / bezels / lenses / switches.
New turn signal switch / wood steering wheel.
New BFG Radial T/As.
New custom-made Tonneau cover.
New bed mat and car cover.
New Malibu badging inside and out with proper eyebrow, rocker and tailgate paint and trim.
Runs and drives excellent.
Clean California title in-hand.
