Full Charge Bookkeeper at Safe and Sound Security Concord, CA

The full charge bookkeeper for our security system installation contracting business will be responsible for all accounting functions.
As accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory control, and purchasing, the bookkeeper will have a hand in all of the purchasing and income activities of our small business.
As a specialty contractor for the last 14 years, we've been serving residential and commercial customers and as a result, we have a high volume of recurring invoices to be received every month.
This requires a bookkeeper who is as comfortable communicating with customers about their bills, vendors about our purchase orders, and employees about receipts and payroll questions.
This person should also have a high level of detail orientation as all job costing, financial reporting, and bank reconciliation is in their purview.
As a business that runs on cloud based software like quickbooks online, salesforce, slack, and google drive, we require a financial leader who is technologically saavy and sharp.
Since we are a small business, the leader of our financial department will also be it's only employee so this person should have leadership skills but will not be afraid to roll up their sleeves and get into the weeds on tedious and menial projects and tasks.
Requirements Mastery of Quickbooks Online Commitment to learn salesforce (if no experience already) Proficiency with google sheets (we're allergic to excel) Experience in a contracting or construction business as a bookkeeper or accountant High level of proficiency with written and verbal communication Ability to work in our Concord office Full Time Benefits$80,000 salaryFull Health Insurance3 Weeks Paid Vacation401k.
