Public Relations Specialist
Contract Position that lasting for 6 months
Planning, developing and implementing PR strategies
Liaising with colleagues and key spokespeople
Liaising with and answering inquiries from media, individuals and other organizations, often via telephone and email
Researching, writing and distributing press releases to targeted media
Collating and analyzing media coverage
Writing and editing in-house content, case studies, speeches, articles and annual reports
Preparing and supervising the production of publicity brochures, handouts, direct mail leaflets, promotional videos, photographs, films and multimedia programs
Devising and coordinating photo opportunities
Maintaining and updating information on the organizations website
Managing and updating information and engaging with users on social media sites such as Twitter and Facebook
Sourcing and managing speaking and sponsorship opportunities
Commissioning market research
Fostering community relations through events such as open days and through involvement in community initiatives
Managing the PR aspect of a potential crisis situation
Other duties as assigned by Sales & Marketing team
Must be able to type 40+ WPM
Must be a U.S Citizen
College Degree preferred but not necessary
Public Relations Agency experience required
Candidate must send in with resume three business related references. All resumes must have month and year present in regards to time presented.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
