The High School Campus Life Assistant is a vital member of the student life team at Carondelet High School.
This position is responsible for supervising, supporting, and enhancing the overall high school experience for students.
The Campus Life Assistant will collaborate with students, staff, and administrators to create a vibrant, inclusive, and engaging campus environment that promotes personal growth, social interaction, and positive well-being.
Essential
Responsibilities:
Works with the Dean of Student Life and Wellness and the Director of Student Activities to oversee the basic quality of life for all Carondelet students.
As a member of the Student Life Team, inspires excellence, responds to the needs of the time, and makes a positive difference by preparing young women to live with heart, faith, and courage in the Catholic tradition.
Fosters a school environment of unity, harmony, cooperation, and high morale through tact, helpfulness, respect, and a recognition of individual differences and the special abilities and strengths of each student.
Acts as a friendly and approachable point of contact for students.
Encourages student participation in extracurricular activities, clubs, and events.
Builds and maintains positive relationships with staff, parents, and community members.
Creates positive interactions with students, families, and outside constituencies through a variety of responsibilities and promotes a positive image of Carondelet.
Is a life-long learner who takes advantage of professional growth opportunities related to their job and education in general.
Is an equity-focused, inclusive staff member with the ability to support an environment where a growth mindset is a prominent presence in all aspects of school life.

Develops innovative strategies and use of technology to ensure smooth implementation of student programming and events.
Administrative Responsibilities Supervision Supervision and Logistics Assists the Dean of Student Life and Wellness and the Associate Dean of Students with campus supervision throughout the school day by being a visible presence on campus.
Promotes a safe and inclusive campus environment.
Addresses and reports any incidents of bullying, discrimination, or safety concerns.
Assists the supervision and tending of the Jean Hofmann Center for Innovation Directs student clean up of common spaces.
Programs the Media Wall and Inner Court TVs to provide weekly timely information encouraging a vibrant communal space.
Assists the Director of Community Engagement in the programming of the Cafe.
Supports and participates in various Student Life programming regarding positive campus culture.
Assists with traffic control after school.
Can be called upon to substitute a class or to proctor tests.
Other duties as assigned.
Student Activities:
Logistics Assists the Director of Student Activities and Dean of Students with the logistics and supervision of the major events that include but are not limited to:
Orientation, Welcome Week, Sisterhood Week, Homecoming Week, RISE Week, Graduation, Student Recognition Assemblies, and other events as they arise.
Coordinates the end of the year Student Awards Night with the help of the Dean of Faculty, Campus Minister for Social Advocacy and Community Service, and Director of Student Activities.
Assists the Director of Student Activities with oversight and management of clubs.
Coordinates daily announcements on Schoology in conjunction with the Director of Student Activities as needed.
Assists the Director of Student Activities during 0 period Leadership class.
This class period is typically Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 7:
15- 8:
05 am.
Other administrative tasks as assigned.
Criteria Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution Prefer experience in an educational setting Proficient in balancing multiple duties and responsibilities, organizational skills and attention to detail Adept at communicating with a variety of stakeholders Proficiency in Google Suite, and a comfort with and willingness to learn a variety of computer platforms as needed Physical Requirements Visual ability to read handwritten or typed documents Able to conduct verbal conversation Able to hear normal range verbal conversation (approximately 60 decibels) Able to sit, stoop, kneel bend, walk, and climb slopes, stairs, and steps Able to stand for extended periods of time Able to push and or pull a variety of tools and equipment up to 10 pounds Able to reach and twist Able to carry up to 10 pounds.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
