Cardiac/Vascular Sonographer - Cardiology - Concord - Full Time - 8 Hour - Days
Job Description:
Under the direct supervision of the site Physician, provides health care services to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. Produces images of heart muscle and functioning by setting-up ultrasound equipment; attaching electrodes to chest and equipment; operating and adjusting equipment; recording cardiac and vascular data and measurements; protecting and helping patients.Education:
- Completion of Cardiac Sonography Program Required
Certifications/Licensures:
- BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association Required
- RDCS Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography -or-
- RCS Adult Registered Cardiac Sonographer - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Required -and-
- RVT Registered Vascular Technologist - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Required
Skills:
- Must be able to type 60 WPM with minimum errors
- Proficient in adult Transthoracic, Echo, doppler analysis, Stress echocardiography, EKG and Holter monitor hook-up, treadmills, arrhythmia recognition, vascular studies
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Familiar with Cardiology PAC's and interpretation software
- Good organizational, grammatical, and communication skills
- Ability to work with a variety of ultrasound equipment

Scheduled Weekly Hours:
40Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
