Social Worker - Licensed Clinical - BHC Social Work Services - Per Diem - 8 Hour - Variable
Job Description:
The Licensed Clinical Social Worker performs Social Service duties for assigned patients in the program. Responsibilities include regular liaison with members of the treatment team, discharge planning, aftercare follow-up and liaison with community agencies as needed. The Licensed Clinical Social Worker conducts the psychosocial assessment for assigned patients. The Licensed Clinical Social Worker provides family safety planning meetings if appropriate. The Licensed Clinical Social Worker helps to coordinate and to provide family services. The Licensed Clinical Social Worker facilitates or co-facilitates group therapy.Education:
Master's Degree - Social Work - Required
Experience:
1 year Behavioral Health - Inpatient or Residential Treatment - Required
Additional Experience Requirements:
If Hire/Transfers prior to 12/31/2006 - LMFT and/or LCSW - Required.
However, effective 1/1/2007, for all Hires/Transfers - LCSW - Licensed Clinical Social Worker - CA Board of Behavioral Sciences WILL BE Required
Certifications/Licensures:
LCSW Licensed Clinical Social Worker - California Board of Behavioral Sciences - Required
BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association - Required
Crisis Prevention Institute Training (CPI) - John Muir Health - Required - Within 30 days of hire and renewal every 12 months (or within 30 days of return from leave of absence)
Skills:
Must have computer skills for word processing, internet, and e-mail usage.
An additional 12% increase will be added to the current posted wage
