Cardiology Technician - CMC Non Invasive Cardiology - Per Diem - 8 Hour - Days
Job Description:
Performance of inpatient and outpatient electrocardiograms (EKG), electronic processing of EKGs in Epic and Cardioserver, Holter monitor and Zio patch monitor and assist with stress testing.Education:
Completion of EKG or Cardiology Technician Program or Equivalent Training Required
Experience:
1 year Clinical Setting Required
Certifications/Licensures:
BLS - Basic Life Support - Certification Required
Cardiographic Certified Technician (CCT) Preferred or
Cardiographic Certified Technician (CCT) Must complete within 1 year of hire
Skills:
Ability to identify basic cardiac rhythms/arrhythmia on Electrocardiogram (EKG) and Holter as demonstrated on pre-employment quiz required.
Ability to accurately perform and process Electrocardiograms.
