org GENERAL Overview:
The Social Worker/Case Manager/Subsidy Counselor is responsible for day-to-day case management of families on the child care subsidy program in the Concord office.
PARTIAL DUTIES/
Responsibilities:
Parents:
Conduct intake of potential clients to determine eligibility.
Identify and enroll eligible clients in appropriate subsidy programs.
Maintain accurate and timely parent and provider files in accordance with funding terms and conditions.
Meet programmatic compliance deadlines, and implement policy changes, as necessary.
Parent Resources and Services:
Work with the Resource & Referral Counselors to help parents needing child care referrals.
Provide information to parents regarding community resources.
Assist with workshops for parents using the subsidy program.
Child Care Providers:
Act as liaison between parents and providers, as needed.
Understand licensing regulations and requirements.
Create and maintain accurate provider records.
General Support:
Assist in planning and implementing special events, parent education activities, provider training workshops and support for other programs, as needed Able to work occasional evenings and weekends during peak volume.
Qualifications:

A.
degree or valid California State Child Development Permit at the Teacher level, preferred.
Early Childhood Education field highly desired.
? Three years of experience in child care, case management or related field, preferred.
? Strong written and oral communication skills, public speaking & presentations.
? Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, proficient in MS Office suite.
? Ability to interface effectively with a diverse client community.
? Bilingual in Spanish, strongly preferred.
