This role will require daily contact/coordination with the AP team.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Word and Excel.
The ideal candidate is a fast learner that is willing to take it upon his or herself to create an immediate impact within the company.
Salary commensurate with experience.
Full-Time or Part-Time status will be considered based on experience.
Essential Functions:
Provide AP and Finance Managers with administrative resources and support.
Input data into our accounting system, organize contracts, billing and AP files as directed.
This position also supports the receptionist department.
Assist in the preparation, distribution and organization of all files and documents related to Accounts Payable department.
Maintain, compile, organize and analyze project-related documentation.
Input AP and accounting data as directed in our accounting system.
Assist with other tasks in the department as directed.
Comprehensively understand billing, contracts, payment agreements and timely execution of payment.
Maintain effective filing systems for all job related documents.
Assist in the preparation and distribution of billing, contracts and all related documents.
Timely and competently performs tasks of whatever nature as assigned by AP Managers or company management.
Skill Requirements:
Familiarity with Trueline accounting software is a plus.
Knowledge and experience with construction billing and contracts, as well as general construction knowledge.
Strong ability to multi task.
Intermediate to Advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel and ability to quickly learn other software packages.
Effective communication skills.
Ability to maintain billing/contract files and documents with great detail.
Experience with liens, stop notices, and resolutions related to construction billing and contracting.
Self-starter with tact, judgment and a highly developed sense of responsibility.
Strong organizational skills.
