Summary:
The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for implementing strategies to achieve organizational goals.
Duties include but are not limited to accounts payable and cash receipts.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
? Counting weekly offerings, scan and record cash receipts for all campuses ? Process AP bills for timely payment.
Code, scan, enter transactions in accounting software, print checks, obtain signatures and mail ? Ensure integrity of financial data when posting transactions and reports within the Sage Intacct accounting software ? Print monthly financial reports to PDFs and email to ministry leaders ? When time permits, assist in other areas of accounting, including bank reconciliations and database management, as directed Job-related
Qualifications:
? Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field preferred ? Three or more years of accounting experience preferred Job Skills, Knowledge, Abilities ? Familiarity of GAAP and non-profit accounting preferred ? Strong personal computer and business software skills.
Adobe Pro, MS Office proficient -- Excel skills required ? Strong data entry skills with a keen eye to detail and accuracy ? Pleasant personality, excellent interpersonal and communication skills and proven ability to interact in a positive manner using a high degree of tact, diplomacy, discretion, flexibility and courtesy in gesture and speech ? Good planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize work ? Able to work independently and collaboratively ? Able to follow verbal and written instructions ? Self-motivated and goal oriented, use good judgment, and be flexible and innovative.
